I was born and raised in India and moved to the USA when I was 13. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rutgers University and my medical degree from St. Georges University. After my residency in Internal Medicine from a community hospital in Elizabeth, I am currently pursuing my endocrinology fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson. During my research time, I study within the Buettner group if a change in the intestinal microbiome through antibiotics alters counter-regulation.
